For my PBA specialty exam at VIA Design & Business, I focused on exploring product details, specifically designing a more functional and aesthetically pleasing hood. Through personal experience in Denmark's harsh weather, I identified key issues with traditional hood designs, such as poor fit, ineffective wind resistance, and limited protection. My goal was to develop a hood that stays securely in place, offers better coverage for the nose and mouth, improves visibility, and enhances the overall look of the garment. This project combines research into existing designs and innovative solutions, aiming to balance functionality with aesthetics for improved performance and design.
